Hockingport Man Killed in Columbus Accident
Alvin Spencer of Hockingport, a well known local farmer, died in Columbus after an accident on the traction line. He was riding with the car in motion and tried to disembark, striking his head on the pavement and sustaining a brain concussion. He died Monday evening after being taken to a hospital. His wife and child survive, and his funeral is planned for Wednesday in Hockingport.

Death of Albert A. Vore at 41
Albert A. Vore died at his home three miles west of Athens on Thursday afternoon from arterial sclerosis. He was 41, unmarried, and survived by his mother a sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held at his home Saturday forenoon conducted by Rev. Bishop, with interment in Salem cemetery.

Three Negro Suspects Arrested in Illinois Train Killing
In Champaign Illinois three African American men were arrested after a violent robbery on the Illinois Central Flyer. Two white men were murdered and thrown beneath the wheels near Clifton. An express messenger saw five men board in Chicago and felt the train jolt near Clifton.
