Alexander Elementary School hosts its annual Halloween parade with over 700 costumed children marching for excited parents and relatives. A trumpet player from Alexander High School Band is listed as a missing child on milk cartons. Messenger photos by John Halley.

Two Ohio University students Kaorin Marshall and Katharine Moran received the I Contribute award from Ohio Department of Public Safety Director John Born for hosting a campus event last April that ran 10 hours and gathered over 200 signatures to push for changes in trafficking laws.
