Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co said the consumer list price of its tires will rise five per cent on Monday. R. and Wilson, sales vice president, said the increase applies to all passenger car tires small truck tires and farm tractor tires. Larger truck tires will be adjusted within the five per cent range by size.
Tehran reports six army officers were executed by firing squad for spying for Russia. Gen. Hossein Aze TMmadeh, army chief prosecutor, announced the sentences followed a secret court trial. The men shouted communist and anti Shah slogans as they died, the army source said.

A missing US Air Force C47 transport with 21 aboard was found wrecked on a wind swept mountain in the French Italian Alps. The plane en route from Rome to Manston England disappeared last Sunday after signaling all clear. Rescue teams confirmed all aboard were dead and planned to recover the bodies.
