Homecoming Weekend Floats Parade and Campus Events
Ohio University hosts a full homecoming weekend with a jazz concert this afternoon in the Frontier room at 3, an 6:30 pep rally at Memorial Auditorium, and 9 pm fraternity open houses. Saturday features a 9:30 am float parade on College Street, 11:30 am alumni luncheon, 1:15 pm parade repeat at the stadium, 2 pm game time, and alumni dinners and dances through the evening. A coffee hour and alumni activities follow at the ice rink and center.

OU male students vote for Homecoming queen and court as events begin. A 3 p.m. jam session in the Frontier Room starts the day, followed by a 6:30 p.m. snake dance parade by the OU Marching Band to the rally at the Auditorium. The queen and court are crowned at the rally with Larry Spiegel presiding. The day also features theatre by the OU Theatre and a 9:30 a.m. parade on Saturday with 35 floats. A Homecoming football game vs Western Michigan is set for 2 p.m., with events and concerts at Memorial Auditorium and various campus venues.
