The Cheers company has received much of the cable for a new line project spanning about 28 miles in the territory. A new double switchboard will allow two operators at the local office. Over 1900 subscribers are expected to be served upon completion, with costs estimated around 90000. The project should finish by year’s start, according to Carhill, the manager.
