Homeless advocates appeal Ohio voting rules to Supreme Court
Homeless advocates and the Ohio Democratic Party filed a high court emergency appeal seeking to block rules that could disqualify thousands of absentee and provisional ballots for minor mistakes. The appeal questions Ohio’s Secretary of State Husted’s order to count provisional ballots with minor errors if identity and eligibility can be verified, arguing it may be reversed by a state court.
