The Albany Baptist Missionary group met Oct. 21 in the church annex with nine present. A study for missionary work in Pern was given by Mrs. Betty Maxwell. Mrs. Edna Smith was hostess. The group plans to entertain at the Albany Rest Home for Thanksgiving. The November meeting will be with Mrs. Max.

Present were postmaster Arthur Cornwell and Mrs Cornwell assistant postmaster Mrs Paul Shannon and Mr Shannon and Francis Diggins superintendent of Vmalls entertained by Women of the Athens Grange. The Four Knights James Paul Farley Emanuel Charonis and Richard Rutkoskie performed.
