Shower honors couple at Albany Grange Hall
Relatives and friends are invited to a shower for Mr. and Mrs J James Cross Wilma Elliott at the Albany Grange Hall Friday at 7 pm. Grange plans party Amens Grange will host a masquerade party Saturday night at the Grange Hall 7 30 pm. The public is invited to attend the rent and those who wish may attend masked. Refreshments will be served.

Mrs Flor ence McBride hosted a Thursday meeting in the Ohio University Alumni Room where Dr John Schindler spoke on living long and his book ideas How to Live 385 Days a Year. The standing rules committee proposed by law changes and members voted to support the Vetera Stocking Fund. Twenty one members attended.

Mrs C G Houck introduced Mrs Ethel Sargent who spoke on Ohio noting its early settlement in 1788 and that the state has produced many illustrious men and more colleges and universities than any state of its size. She also sketched famous Ohio statesmen doctors scientists industrialists inventors educators. Hostesses were Mrs David Hughes Mrs Houck Miss Florence Zanner and Miss Delle Finsterwald.
