PTO records review finds discrepancies but no proven theft
Couradis compared Grace’s June 30 report with the PTO bank balance and found a discrepancy of about 1400 in earmarked funds. When added to unrestricted funds, differences of roughly 4500 to 5800 appeared versus bank statements. A news release says uncleared deposits and debits explain most gaps and that no criminal activity is suspected. Grace, a Democratic candidate for state representative, had previously claimed records balanced.
