Nelsonville Bridge Nears Traffic Completion Date

Nelsonville's new steel highway bridge over the Hocking River nears completion with early traffic expected within two to three weeks. The old covered bridge will be removed after traffic shifts, while grading and landscaping remain to finish the project funded by CSO efforts.

Club Elects New Officers at Gladys Viney Home

GLOUSTER The Baptist Young People's Club met at Gladys Viney's home on October 12 with Viney supervising. Cecia Goodman read Psalms 5, then the Lord's Prayer. Officers elected for the year: Betty Jean Harding president, Ray Harding vice president, Donnie Goodman secretary, Bob Viney assistant secretary, Cecia Goodman treasurer, Mrs. Viney pianist. Social Committee Billy Jenkins. Lunch planned for October 31. The club will lead Morning Worship on the first Sunday in November. Next meeting October 26.
