Ohio University faces the University of Delaware at Peden Stadium in a Homecoming game marked by unfamiliar opponents. Delaware arrives with standout credentials and a three game stats streak, averaging nearly 52 points per game.
Delaware Ohio set probable lineups at Peden Stadium for a 2 p m kickoff. Listed players include Messina Chesmore James Wilkinson Higgins Spangler Harrison Zolak Brown Wallace McCrain Hutter Frickens Fisher Hoovier Mikes Stepsis Fowlkes Danyo Albert Curtis Hite and others ahead of the game.
Delaware, 1963 Homecoming Queen candidates, pace the Blue Hens to a 30-0 Lehigh, 64-18 Gettysburg, and 61-0 Lafayette stretch, averaging 515 yards per game. Mike Brown rushes for six touchdowns in three games, averaging 9.5 yards per carry, while Delaware’s defense limits opponents to minus 21 rushing yards. Ohio University coach Bill Hess praises Delaware’s strength, predicting a tough test as Ohio hosts Delaware at Peden Stadium with a near sell-out planned and tickets at 2.00. The team uses Wing-T concepts and a potent passing attack under coach Davey Nelson. The Bobcats’ errs include 7-0 loss to Buffalo and 18-17 loss to Toledo.

The traditional Homecoming luncheon will be held in Bird Arena behind Grover Physical Education Center near Peden Stadium. Serving hours are 11 30 a m to 1 00 p m, price 2 00 per person. Park at the stadium walk to Bird Arena then return after the float parade.
