X Ray Unit Tour Cancelled By Mechanical Breakdown
The Ohio Department of Health mobile chest X ray unit faced a Thursday cancellation after breaking down Monday in New Marshfield and being towed to Columbus for clutch repairs. The Athens County Tuberculosis and Health Association executive secretary said stops at Blains, the Sylvania plant, and the E. M. Poston plant were also canceled. Sponsors regret the mishap as Athens nears a record, with 8064 free chests in 14 days versus 297 last year’s 25 days. Doubtful if another trip can be arranged to cover the missed dates.
