VAN WERT. Oct. 16. P C Judkins former auditor of Van Wert County found dead in his home under circumstances indicating suicide after forgery conviction. He won renomination in the August Republican primary and was convicted weeks ago for forging an endorsement to a $296.73 check to a local newspaper. He withdrew as a candidate after conviction and after being denied a new trial planned to appeal.
Mary Lou Woodlock, 7, died in Mansfield Ohio 31 hours after slipping into coma. Doctors said she died from what was described as sleeping sickness.
In Tiffin Ohio on October 16 Tommy Schumm eight lies in serious condition after a hog attack. His brother Harold nine chased the animal away with a stick.
