Kennedy, 17 near Amenville, was fined $10 and costs for prior rock lenses driving. he, Adam Dixon and Herbert Sedwick were in the car with him. Authorities investigated with Prosecutor Joan Bolin and Sheriff Charles Tratten. Funeral for Helen Chikt set for Sugar Creek Church Tuesday at 2 PM.
Weirton, W. Va. workers paused in a steel holiday as the national labor board conference with E T Weir and Amalgamated Union leaders in Washington continued. The mills claimed 50 men at work while union leaders said 1200 were idle. William J. Long urged 3,000 strikers to maintain peace and extend the steel holiday. Streets cleared yesterday and this morning.
A pickup truck left the road near Murray City around 4 am Sunday. Driver Robert Rowland survived uninjured after the vehicle went off the road and overturned, striking a door and sustaining minor injuries as the truck was demolished.
