Driver Fined After Crash in Pomeroy Court
James Lau dermill of Pomeroy was fined 10 dollars and costs for driving without an operator's license when he appeared before Mayor Charles Legar in village court Saturday evening. Ralph Thompson of New Haven was cited for driving left of center and will also appear before Mayor Legar.

Gillispie Pleads Guilty To Sodomy Charges in Mason County
Clinton Edward Gillispie Sr. changed an innocent plea to guilty on two sodomy charges just before a scheduled trial in Mason County Circuit Court. A previous sodomy conviction from Sept. 20 stands. Jury members were dismissed and petit jurors will report Nov. 4. He is held for pre-sentencing evaluation by Nov. 5.
