Ohio to seek aid for regional vocational center plan
Governor James A. Rhodes announced Ohio will request 898,979 from the Appalachia Regional Commission to help fund a 2.54 million Tri County Joint Vocational School and Post High School Center in Nelsonville. Athens Hocking and Perry counties voters will decide a 737,987 local bond issue next month to share the cost. The center is designed for 1375 students. 704,012 of the total has already been allocated under the Vocational Education Act of 1963.
