Y-Teens Observe Roll-Call Week in Athens
The second annual nation wide Y-Teen Roll-Call Week of the YWCA runs Monday through Sunday. In Athens the highlight is a Y-Teen Recognition Service Thursday at 7 15 p m in the high school auditorium followed by a Chocolate for Christmas ceremony to raise five cent candy donations for hungry children abroad. Athens High School Y-Teen Club formed Oct 5 with Patsy Wolfe as president and a list of officers and chairmen. Membership is open to all girls of any race creed or nationality.
