Herman Carson and Sons of Long Bottom bought two registered Jersey cows from G T Carleton of Pomeroy. The cows Prime Queen No. 134919 and Crackerjack Heroine No. 1259188 join the Carson herd as foundation stock for a farming program. Also noted are other livestock purchases and a growing agriculture enrollment with new farm shop equipment and several farm projects at Athens County.
