Local option election planned for Huntington Township and Vinton village
Ballots are prepared for a county local option election in Huntington Township and Vinton village. Six questions cover sale of all intoxicating liquor including 3.2 beer. No liquor permits exist in either area, but several beer outlets operate. Proponents claim sheriff patrols and arrests for intoxication weekly. The election, Nov 7, is the county's only local option vote with little publicity.
