Athens Officials Deny Driveway Access to Medical Center
Athens city officials report the Ohio Natural Resources Department driveway on E State Street cannot be used for access to the medical center due to space and building constraints. Mayor Raymond Shepard will confer with Harris council. a meeting with Engineering Associates of Wooster on the recreation complex is planned this week.

Phone Threat Case Is Dismissed In Plains
The Municipal Court dismissed charges against James Stanley of The Plains for making threats during a phone call. Judge Franklin Sheeter noted no law against it and ordered plaintiff Bernard Hillen to pay $12.50 court costs. Hillen wrote to Ohio’s attorney general citing state law on telephone threats and possible misfiling by police.
