Pirate Treasure found by boys taken by cops
Four thirteen year old boys in Windsor Ontario believed they found pirate gold but turned over a stash of dull yellow metal. The pieces were identified as pure gold by a jeweler yet the Sandwich police seized the gold under a law that assigns ownership to the government if title is unclear. The incident ends with police custody and questions over rightful ownership.
