Pomeroy Mayor Criticizes Anti-Pollution Law
Pomeroy Mayor Delmar A. Canaday denounces the anti-pollution law saying it would force a debt between 750000 and 1000000 for a sewage disposal plant. He cites financial impossibility for Pomeroy to fund sewer upgrades and seeks an exemption for small communities. The remarks follow a AP dispatch from Columbus and relate to permit renewals at the riverfront village.
