Ohio court order schedules term times for seventh district
An 1883 notice from Athens County Ohio records a broad order by the Seventh Judicial District to hold terms of the District Court in multiple counties including Washington Athens Meigs Gallia and others. It lists dates in March through September and names district judges, with a certification by Clerk Silas E Hedges and publisher notice requirements for two newspapers. It also reports subsequent notices of lawsuits and land partitions in Athens County with named plaintiffs Charles W Fleak Martha C Liltheridge Abbie K Parker and Erastus H Parker and a request for appearance by Charles W Fleak by October 1884.
