POMEROY October 2 The Sugar Run School parent-teacher association plans playground improvements this year. New president Mrs A R Clifton appointed a playground committee including Paul Hayman Floyd Mees Wright McCroria and Henry Cohen to oversee the project. Guest speaker Mrs Mary Cartwright of the Ohio Department of Public Health discussed school health safeguards and application to schools. Additional committees for the year were Social Service and Program chaired by several members.
