A Ford coupe driven by Fred Bobo of Athens was struck by a nine car Big Four train near Georgesville, killing Bobo his companion Miss Stella Snyder and her nephew Kenneth Fullen 15 instantly. The engineer J J Moloney said two whistle signals failed to warn the driver. The crash occurred about 6 pm leaving many injured and a large funeral expected.
