Miss Mary Williams daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl G. Williams of Parkersburg Road plans an December 22 wedding to William Wise of Tipp City. Wise is a Manchester College graduate and a history and social studies teacher in Tipp City. The ceremony will be in the Helen Mauck Galbreath Memorial Chapel on the Ohio University campus.

Mrs. Charles E. Dent and Mrs. George Sheeter presented a $125 check to Barb and Gilbert at Athens County Children's Home to rent about 12 movies for Saturday night programs. The Home hosts a movie and dance with a concession stand, proceeds aiding the recreation fund. Proceeds from a recent cookbook sale support the sorority’s efforts.
