A second Nelsonville child died after exposure to phosphorous poison used to exterminate rats. Lois Linton, two, died at Children's Hospital Columbus after removal for treatment, following Nola Jean, three, who died at home last Tuesday. A baby sister of three months was reported slightly ill. Funeral services for Nola Jean were set for Wednesday at Warren's Funeral Home with calling hours at Henry Perkins residence.

Youth Found Murdered in Wrecked Car Near Lanse
In L Anse Michigan Leslie Kempainen 23 was found dead in an overturned car in a snow filled ditch. His cousins Waino Kemppainen 25 Abraham Kinnunen 56 and Matt Kokko 64 all Pelkie were unharmed. Police found a bullet hole in Kempainen temple and coroner tests point to a 32 caliber gun. Wax hand molds from all four men were sent for testing to determine if any fired a gun.

Bus Collision Injures 31 on Kane Route
