Joseph P Kennedy 81 was laid to rest in Brookline after a simple funeral at Holyhood Cemetery. The Kennedy patriarch, father of a president and two senators, faced personal tragedies including assassinations, died Tuesday and was buried Thursday amid winter winds at the Kennedy compound.
