Charles Malone of Glouster pleaded guilty and received 25 dollars and costs for possessing a muskrat in closed season. he was arrested by Swartz near Jacksonville.
Athena Brick plant, idle for 2.5 years and once a district industry, is set to resume by January 1 after ownership transfer to R. D. Bond and associates from Detroit. About 120 workers were affected. reconditioning begins immediately with repairs and hiring already underway as several departments prepare for brick manufacture.
A jury convicted Oliver W. Gillette of Cleveland and acquitted Edward L. Lansing of Cleveland on election fraud charges.
