A Flying Boxcar crashed during a mass parachute drop near Fort Bragg North Carolina. Ten parachutists died and five others perished in the wreck as planes collided and the craft exploded. Hall confessed to the kidnapping and murder after arrest in St Louis with about $592,000 in ransom cash.
