Ohio rolls past FGCU as Mompremier shines in opener
Ohio opened Saul Phillips era with an 85 75 win over Florida Gulf Coast at home. Wadly Mompremier to a career high 12 points and 12 rebounds off the bench along with 20 minutes of defense and four offensive boards. Jaaron Simmons added seven assists as Kenny Kaminski scored 17 points and Antonio Campbell 11 before foul trouble. FGCU received 21 from Marc Eddy Novela and 12 from Antrovious Simmons but could not overtake the Bobcats.
