York servicemen visit home during furloughs
Mrs and Mr Mopstetter in Nelsonville hosted a chicken dinner for Donald Hoster on furlough from the Fifth Army unit in Italy. Robert Matheny, recently informed by his mother, is with the Fifth Army in Italy. Matheny and his wife and son spent furlough at H. T. Matheny's home after Pfc Matheny graduated from the Army Air Force Radio School in Sioux Falls. He will report to Baer Field Fort Wayne Indiana with the Air Transport Command.
