An information charged Cunningham with possessing untaxed liquor. Affidavits against Cunningham and three others were filed by Inspectors Adams and Conrath. Arraignments for the Saturday arrestees saw Swyers and Kindade plead guilty with fines, Robson bound over to the grand jury under $100 bond.
In New Philadelphia the Muskingum Conservancy District plans to file a basis for assessing benefiting properties next month with 16 common pleas judges. The $35 million flood control project includes 14 dams and 11 levees to safeguard homes and farms. Assessments will be proportionate and may be paid as a lump sum or via taxes over 30 years.

The Stroupe farm dwelling near Alexis North Carolina burned early today. Mr Hough Cunningham died trying to warn his eight children who perished in the blaze. Mrs Cunningham escaped unharmed. Firemen found most bodies too charred to identify after 1 a.m.
