Turnaround at Alexander a different mentality era
The 2015 Alexander Spartans transformed from a 1-9 2013 season under coach Sean Arno to a 10-1 campaign led by coach Penrod. Seniors like Thompson recall a shift from doubters to believers as a culture of intensity and teamwork replaced finger pointing, culminating in a Division V Region 17 semifinal bid and a league title.
