Trooper alleges bribery to drop the Hall Mills probe as political feud erupts in Coolidge with rival parties trading allegations and proposed reforms.
Mrs Mouthay Johnson, convicted of marrying her fourteen year old daughter to a first cousin, fined 200 dollars and sentenced to one year in Marysville reform school. The case highlights a prohibited union and statutory marriage concerns.
A heavy frost occurred yesterday morning with temperatures ranging through the day. The thermometer reached 22 in the morning and 72 was the all time Ohio high for the date in 1888 while 19 was the record low in 1908. The attached two hour temperature table shows readings across the day with entries around 58 to 65 degrees in the afternoon.

Reports say more than a hundred killed in Southern Luzon as the typhoon wrecks wireless stations and grounds hundreds of fishing vessels. Officials work to repair communications and assess damage after the cyclone swept Luzon and hit Laguna district near Los Baños.

Witnesses describe a $2500 bribe offered to Dickman to disappear amid the Hall murder trial. Dickman testified he was bribed by Azariah Beekman, then Somerset County prosecutor, to drop the inquiry, while court heard about secret meetings at St John the Divine and villagers spying on the clergy.
