Meigs County commissioners quietly launched a three mile road project in Flatwoods from Five Points on the Pomeroy Chester pike to the Pomeroy Athens highway at the old Canada church. L L Keller supervises the work which widens the road to 40 feet, removes curves, lowers hills, adds fills and longer culverts with land donated by farmers.
