Pair Charged With Theft At Inn Breaking Entering Hearings Continued
Robert Hanning 221 v. Washington St and Douglas Seyler 7 W State St had preliminary hearings continued to Monday in Athens County Municipal Court. They are charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny for $400 stolen from Johnsons Inn last week. Bond set at $10,000 each. Other Friday cases included James Justicepleaded guilty for shoplifting oysters and cheese, fined $100 and costs.

Intruders Reported At Hocking Bank Court Street Branch
Intruders entered the Hocking Valley Bank on Court Street during the night but nothing was reported missing. Co manager Floyd Savage said the safe appeared tampered with though vault entry was not made. The back door was kicked in and a hasp and braces were displaced. Police found two footprints and no pry marks. Debbie Radford was omitted from Waterloo School honor roll lists.
