OU Dance Faculty Adds Professionals To Staff
Ohio University welcomes two new dance faculty members Gladys Bailin and Eileen Cohan moving from major urban arts scenes to Athens. Bailin plans to perform and teach, revive Facets with Murray Louis in Memorial Auditorium, and bring a global stage career to the department. Cohan improvises music to accompany dance, aligning piano with choreography and contributing since 1958. Bailin praises Athens but notes facilities and small-city life differ from New York and Honolulu.
