Logan Commission Ordered to Provide Juvenile Court Funds

Logan County commissioners were urged by Judge Rhea Bangert Brown to grant additional funds for the Juvenile Court. Prosecuting attorney Hubert Lappen said the board must annually appropriate money for court expenses and may be compelled by mandamus to do so. He advised funding could be drawn from a tax to create a judicial and court fund, with general funds or borrowing as last resorts. The ruling noted persistent need for full annual appropriations, or future requests may compel action. Also approved was Ralph and Leota Klinger's six‑lot subdivision on Lake Logan Road.
