Mrs. Charles Lewis formerly Jennie Courtney died Sunday at her home on the Dorr farm near Hocking ten days after giving birth to twins. She had been in poor health and passed away with funeral services set for Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Courtney home on Dean avenue with Rev. T. L. Lowe officiating. Interment in the new cemetery. The widowed husband and five children survive.
Bailey Run May 28 report the death of Ben Stalter an elderly veteran at his home. Funeral to be held in Chauncey Tuesday morning at 11 o clock with services and burial planned locally.

Mrs. Lucia Wilke of Caroline Wisconsin found a 25 cent box of Bucklen’s Arnica Salve more uplifting than a mountain of gold, curing a running leg sore that tormented her for 23 years. The salve touted as the greatest antiseptic healer of piles wounds and sores is sold at W H McKee’s drug store.
