A costume party at the Rutter home La Casa Del Arte Elmwood Pt honors Col J Craig Hille whose one man show is at John Calhoun Baker Center this week. Mrs Rutter wore gold sequins and a top hat as a Las Vegas show girl while Basil played a Sioux chief.
Ohio University deans Donald R. Clippinger and Rush Elliott were honored at a Chemistry Department dinner. Clippinger retires July 1 as Graduate College dean and Elliott retires September 1 as Arts and Sciences dean, returning to teaching.
The Ohio Valley Summer Theater launches its 15th season themed The Many Faces of Comedy with six plays. The schedule opens June 24 with You Cant Take It With You, followed by Everyone Loves Opal Little Mary Sunshine You Never Can Tell Critic's Choice and Oh Dad Poor Dad Mama's Hung You In the Closet. Season tickets cost $1 per play or $10 for the full run. Various board members and local figures are listed as ticket outlets and organizers.
