Poppies from the American Legion Auxiliary sale on Poppy Day will be woven into a wreath for Dr. K. T. Crossen’s grave in Hebbardeville for Decoration Day. Crossen, born in Lee Township, died July 29 1918 in the Battle of the Marne and the Athene Post was named in his honor in 1919.
