In Reynoldsburg May 25 Private Yeager died when a bombing plane returning to Langley Field Va from Kelly Field Tex crashed near Reynoldsburg. The crew parachuted to safety after the propeller split during flight from Norton Ohio where they were delayed by motor trouble.
