Nelsonville Legion seeks city utility aid for pole removal
The Nelsonville American Legion posts asks utilities and city officials to move a telephone and electric pole near the new memorial building to improve appearance. The pole location by Columbus and Fulton adds a curbside obstacle and center sidewalk issue when the sidewalk is built. If the city relocates the pole across the street, conflicts with the telephone company would end, requiring only a small expense and benefiting the memorial’s surroundings. Mrs. Clifford Sanders and two children visit from Wolfpit Kentucky as Mr. Ball plans to move to Logan with a new grocery.
