Medical marijuana bill heads to Ohio governor for signature
The Ohio Senate approved the medical marijuana measure 29 to 26 and the House 67 to 28. The bill would bar home growing and smoking but allow certain vapor use for chronic conditions, regulate cultivation via the State Department of Commerce, and require dispensaries to hire registered pharmacists. It faces a noncommittal response from Gov. Kasich and includes protections for employers and local opt out options.
