Apollo 10 astronauts return to Houston for reunions
Apollo 10 crew Captain Thomas P. Stafford John W. Young and Eugene Cernan landed aboard the carrier Princeton and then flew to Pago Pago. They will brief NASA on the mission eight hours before Apollo 11 lift off July 16 from Cape Kennedy with a July 20 moon landing.

US Forces Shelled Four Times in One Day at DMZ
U S command charged North Vietnam with over 5000 DMZ violations on November 1. Four mortar and rocket attacks Sunday hit a Marine position about 400 yards south of the DMZ with eight Marines killed and 24 wounded. Marines returned fire. no enemy casualties reported. Three Policemen Shot In Seattle Texas Melee Leaves Nine Wounded
Three Seattle policemen were shot and nine officers injured during a daylong clash with black youths in Seattle. In Denton Texas nine people were shot after a car collision near Texas Woman's University leaving one student critically wounded. General Motors Delays Truck Defect Warnings
Washington AP report says GM did not warn about wheel failure risks in 150,000 light trucks before federal intervention.
