58 Boulevard Lights Begin in Nelsonville Business District
Wyatt Construction Co starts installing 58 new boulevard lighting fixtures in Nelsonville with a modern system intended to illuminate the business district from Cables Alley to Jefferson Street and Public Square. The project, approved by the City Planning Commission and Mayor Oral Daugherty in 1946, aims to repace aging fixtures but faced delays due to equipment shortages.
