Ohio University seniors urge reforms at Senior Day
Ohio University Class of 1936 led by Bert Cameron and Herman G. James urged changes in campus life during Senior Day at Memorial Auditorium. They condemned the worship of efficiency, urged more inspirational teaching, and called for a stronger school personality and student inquiry. James praised honesty, hard work, and thrift as foundations for living and told graduates to be proud of their alma mater. Jane Gill performed a piano piece, and the piece ends with unrelated notes on meat inspections and the sulphur-bottom whale.
