Mason County Action Group Inc director announces the West Central Community Action Association will not offer a summer Head Start program this year and will instead implement a full term 1969 70 program during the school year. Area director Dr James Rybak notes the full program could be adopted now only by dropping the summer option.

Shrubbery Plans At New Haven Garden Club Meeting

Queen Named To Reign At Point Pleasant Dance
Debbie Williams was chosen queen at the Point Pleasant Junior High School Dance on Friday evening. Lois Leport and Tina Collier were first and second runners up. The queen's room prize was based on the most money raised. Music was by Sahara Waterworks. The New Haven town council approved a $960 contract with Tri County Asphalt Co for crushed stone and asphalt materials and accepted a bid from Allegheny Fire Equipment Co for a reel and hose for the fire truck.
