Fishing Camp Entry Reported to Sheriff
Entry into an old school bus used as a fishing camp near Guysville was reported to the sheriff by Mrs. Eugene Hammer. She said the break in likely occurred during winter and was found Monday. Missing were a gasoline stove, table and chairs, dishes, a gas lantern and a mattress. Windows were broken but locks intact, suggesting the intruder had a key.

ROTC Cadets Practice Rifle Marksmanship at Camp Sherman
Sixty three Army ROTC cadets from Ohio University trained all day Tuesday at Camp Sherman near Chillicothe. They and six instructors ran two chartered buses to the range to learn firing the M 1 rifle under official procedures. Tavern Owner Fined For Selling to Minor
Charles Robinson owner of the 50 A Tavern at Sugar Creek was found guilty in County Court of selling liquor to a minor. He pleaded innocent, was held on $400 bond, and received a $250 fine plus costs after the verdict.
